At Blossoms, we believe creativity is even more magical when it’s shared. Our girls-only craft & activity club in Newark isn’t just about making arts and crafts — it’s about making friends, building confidence, and creating a supportive space for girls to shine together.

A Safe Space for Girls to Build Friendships in the Newark area, including Fernwood & Coddington

In today’s busy world, it’s not always easy for children to meet new friends outside of school. Blossoms provides a safe, nurturing setting for girls aged 4–10 to connect over shared interests, laughter, and creativity.

From the moment they walk through the door, our girls are encouraged to work together on fun projects, chat while crafting, and celebrate each other’s ideas.

Teamwork Through Creative Activities

Each week, we explore a variety of arts and crafts — from painting and jewellery-making to seasonal decorations and group projects. These activities naturally encourage teamwork:

• Sharing ideas and materials

• Helping each other with tricky parts of a craft

• Celebrating everyone’s finished creations

It’s amazing to see how quickly friendships blossom when children are working towards something fun together.

Boosting Confidence That Lasts Beyond the Club

For many girls, joining Blossoms is their first time meeting children from different schools in the Newark area. Over time, these new friendships help them grow in confidence, learn how to work with different personalities, and develop important social skills they’ll carry with them for life.
